Last week, a record number of 408 trailblazers representing university, municipal, and private parking operations gathered in Denver, Colorado, to attend the industry’s largest customer conference of the year – T2 Connect 2024. It was another unforgettable expedition for attendees, filled with discovery, camaraderie, growth, and celebration.
Getting the Party Started
On our first night, customers, speakers, sponsors, and T2 staff all converged at an Après Ski themed Welcome Party to gear up for an exciting week ahead. Dressed in chic ski lodge attire, attendees enjoyed reunions with old Connect friends, new introductions, cozy dishes, and a warm greeting from T2 Business Leader, Lin Bo.

Bringing the Heat
The Denver Broncos Stampede drumline lit up Day One with a fiery performance, energizing the audience as they ushered T2 leaders and speakers onto the Opening Session stage. Lin kicked off the session with a look at our past and the promise of our future, extensively focused on our customers’ experience while enabling them with transformative parking technology solutions. Zack Harmeyer, T2 Sr. Vice President of Product, followed with a rousing overview of our 2025 product strategy and goals.

T2 PARCS, MultiSpace, UPsafety PE, and T2 UNIFI® product managers each provided customers a review of our most recent accomplishments and sneak peeks of exciting innovations we’re working on that meet the future of parker commerce. We were also excited to unveil a whole new Flex® user experience – FlexForward™ – to be further fueled by customer feedback.

Adventures in Parking
All 79 sessions at T2 Connect 2024 – covering everything from emerging trends in the industry to maximizing T2 solutions – were well-attended throughout the week. Led by a combination of T2, customer, industry, and partner experts, the sessions proved to be a great value for attendees in every role of parking operations.
International Parking & Mobility Institute’s (IPMI) Senior Training and Development Specialist Cindy Campbell delivered standing room only professional development sessions, while our Product Playground sessions including FlexForward™ overflowed with energy and engagement.
“We were delighted and inspired by the excitement and participation of our playground sessions that kept our doors open well beyond our allotted times,” said Matt Howard, T2 Director of Product Management. “We’ll be bringing our product playgrounds back to T2 Connect next year, for sure.”
Attendees also enjoyed opportunities to mingle and learn from our partner sponsors at our Expo Hall opened throughout the week. Carrida Technologies, Offstreet, and Mistall each offered a secluded Campfire Chat where stories of success and future innovation and collaboration were told.

We had another fun and successful Giveback Session this year, where nearly 100 customers, partners, and T2 staff became contestants in a game show fundraiser for SafeHouse Denver. The winning team got to present a donation from Verra Mobility® to this organization that serves survivors of domestic violence and their children through an emergency shelter, a non-residential counseling and advocacy center, and an extended stay program.
With the help of our caring customer community, we raised a total of $5,625 that will provide 79 nights of emergency shelter, along with a collection of donated goods and products that will help support survivors.
“It’s been our tradition and the right thing to do, to give back to the communities where we work, live, and gather, such as T2 Connect” said Shi McGowan, VP of Sales and Customer Experience. “This year, like every other, it was so heartwarming to see our customers generously help us leave a positive impact behind.”

Celebrating our Circle of Champions
T2 Connect can never conclude without us celebrating the people and organizations who join and support us in our journey to shape the future of parking for our customers. We showed our appreciation by hosting an evening of bowling, billiards, arcade games, and dancing at Lucky Strike in downtown Denver. Competition between organizations was fierce, but great and memorable fun was had by all. A special thanks to Comsonics and Walker Consultants for keeping the party going by sponsoring this year’s After-Party at the same venue.

Connect came to a close on Thursday afternoon, as sessions and the partner expo wrapped up. “We’re grateful to have had so many great discussions and meetings with customers and sponsors throughout the week,” Lin reflected. “I’m excited to keep this momentum going as we continue our focus on customer experience and satisfaction, disciplined execution of our products and services, and fostering innovation in every aspect of what we do.”
T2 Connect 2024 was defined by excitement. T2 partner Parker Technology, a Gold Sponsor of Connect, wrote, “A special [thanks] to James Fedor [T2 Senior Product Manager] for highlighting our upcoming integration with T2. We couldn’t be more excited about what the future holds and the possibilities this partnership will unlock for our customers.”
“As expected, what a wonderful time!” said Jon Haney, Executive Director, Allentown Parking Authority. “It was fun as always and more importantly – it was great to see everyone again.”
We look forward to seeing everyone again next year in Indianapolis!
