T2 has some of the brightest minds in the parking industry, and each employee brings a unique set of talents and experiences to the table. We thought you might like to learn more about these talented individuals. In our Employee Spotlight series, you’ll get to know one employee each month. This month we talked to Albert Bartee, a Regional Sales Manager for our PARCS solution.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Clarksville, Tennessee.
What drew you to working in sales?
Playing basketball in high school and college enhanced my competitive nature, and I wanted a career that matched my grit and determination. Sales is a rewarding, challenging career. Creating the most appropriate solution for my customers and then giving them the tools and motivation to buy from me requires detective skills, teamwork, and an understanding of human nature.
How did you end up in the parking industry?
I actually first got involved in parking in July of 2019 when I was a Regional Sales Manager for another software company. I had a conversation with a couple of people at T2 surrounding the company and the industry, so I can honestly say that the parking industry found me.
What do you do as a Regional Sales Manager for T2?
As a Regional Sales Manager I am responsible for the distribution and sales of T2’s products and services for PARCS. My primary responsibility is to maintain and expand our PARCS footprint throughout the Southeastern United States. I also work very closely with our Inside Sales, Account Management, and Flex Sales Consultant teams in supporting our existing PARCS customers and their evolving needs.
What’s something that you think people don’t know about parking that you find interesting?
The parking industry is worth $100 billion worldwide.
What do you enjoy about working at T2?
Communication and the people I work with are at the top the list. Open and timely communication builds transparency and trust that goes both ways, in addition to uniting employees and leadership under the same goals.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I love superhero movies. I think that I’ve probably watched every single superhero movie ever made.
