Multi-space Pay Stations

Operate in Any Mode

Each Digital pay station supports Pay-by-License Plate, Pay-by-Space, and Pay-and-Display without the need to buy a new system or expensive new hardware. This flexibility means that as your needs evolve, you can switch from one mode to another, or even employ different modes concurrently on the same lot. Digital pay stations are also compatible with industry-leading Pay-by-Phone services.

Pay-by-License Plate

How It Works

  • Consumer notes their license plate
  • Consumer goes to pay station
  • Consumer enters license plate and purchases time
  • Consumer keeps receipt

Benefits

  • Doesn’t require designated spaces, therefore, the number of vehicles able to park per block is not fixed
  • Works seamlessly with License Plate Recognition (LPR) enforcement systems.
  • Pay-by-Phone integration
  • No space marking costs

Pay-by-Space

How It Works

  • Consumer notes his or her space number
  • Consumer goes to pay station
  • Consumer enters space number and purchases time
  • Consumer keeps receipt

Benefits
Unlike Pay-and-Display (PND) parking, the consumer does not have to walk back to their vehicle to display a permit on their dashboard. Consequently, PBS is ideally suited for large lots where a smaller number of pay stations can be located at strategic locations.

Pay-and-Display

How It Works

  • Consumer goes to pay station
  • Consumer purchases time
  • Consumer returns to vehicle
  • Consumer displays ticket on dashboard

Benefits
Enforcement is easy and inexpensive to implement: officers simply check vehicle dashboards to verify the consumer has purchased a permit and that it has not expired.
