General Info

What is Connect?

Connect is T2's annual customer conference. This information-packed, multi-day event is attended by hundreds of parking professionals, who enthusiastically return year after year to learn about new technologies, participate in educational training sessions on T2 products, and experience invaluable networking and connections with industry experts and peers.


Where is Connect 2019?

Connect will be held in Tucson, AZ this year at the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa.


What are the conference dates?

Connect 2019 will take place on Monday, November 18th through Thursday, November 21st.


Who will be there?

Parking professionals from across North America join us each year for Connect. Last year, we had more than 500 attendees, and we expect that number to rise for this year's event. Our attendees represent a diverse background of organization sizes, types, and experience levels. With over 100 different session offerings, there's something for everyone.


Why should I attend?

Connect is the premier parking industry event, and a must-attend for all parking professionals. Connect gives you access to parking experts, new technologies, educational sessions, and customized training programs. Here are just a few reasons why Connect attendees return year after year:

Registration

How do I register?

You can register for Connect here. All registrations must be submitted online.


Can I register on behalf of someone else?

Yes. Our registration system allows you to indicate that you are registering on behalf of someone else. This will allow us to capture both your name and the person you are submitting a registration for. We'll send the confirmation information to both of you.


How much does registration for Connect cost?

We have multiple registration options available:
 

  • Standard Registration - $999 USD before 9/20/19 ($1,199 USD from 9/21 through 11/18/19)
    Standard registration includes entry to all training sessions (except Monday all-day sessions), conference meals/breaks, and all customer entertainment events.
     
  • Comprehensive Registration - $2,700 USD
    Comprehensive registration includes your conference registration (except Monday all-day sessions), (4) nights hotel stay at the conference hotel, and air travel to/from your hometown airport.

    Please note the following: Comprehensive registration package does not include transportation to/from the airport to the conference hotel or airline baggage fees. Any charges, fees or taxes owed due to flight changes or cancelation once flight has been booked is the responsibility of the attendee and is not covered under the Comprehensive Registration fee or by conference organizer.
     
  • Single Day - $600 USD
    This registration includes all training sessions, meals, and entertainment for any one single day of the conference (choose from Tuesday or Wednesday).
     
  • Guest - $550 USD
    This registration is for non-conference participating spouses or guests. This option will allow your guest to join you for all conference meals and entertainment events. This registration does not include training breakouts or general sessions.
     
  • Customer Event Party Guest - $95 USD
    This registration allows your spouse or guest to attend our Monday Welcome Reception and Wednesday evening Customer Appreciation Event and After Party. This cost covers all food, drink, and entertainment for the events.


I registered for Connect but want to make an edit. What should I do?

To make updates to your Connect registration, simply refer back to the link provided in your registration confirmation email. This will direct you back to your registration entry where you can make changes.

Please note: all cancellations must be made in writing to dawn.francescon@t2systems.com by Monday, November 4th. After this time, no refunds will be allowed; however, we will be happy to transfer your registration to another member of your team.


I registered for Connect but can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?

Refunds can be made until Monday, November 4th. After this time, no refunds will be allowed; however, substitutions may still be made.


I registered for Connect but can no longer attend. Can I transfer my spot to someone else?

Yes. Attendee substitutions can be made until the beginning of the conference on November 18th. Simply update your registration (by following the link provided in your confirmation email) to reflect the new attendee's name and contact information.
 

Are guests welcome at Connect 2019?

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring a guest to Connect. A guest is defined as a spouse, child, or significant other and cannot be a co-worker or person who should otherwise be registered as an attendee. A separate guest registration is required if you would like your guest to join you for all conference meals and entertainment functions (Welcome Reception, Customer Appreciation Party).


Can I bring a guest to just the entertainment events?

Yes.  If you would like your guest to join you just for our entertainment events (Welcome Reception, Customer Appreciation Party), please purchase a Customer Appreciation Party ticket for your guest. There is no need to purchase a Guest registration in addition.


What is your payment policy?

T2 reserves the right to limit or deny access to any entity or individual. All conference registrations must be paid in full by November 15, 2019. When you register, you have the option to pay immediately by credit card or request an invoice.

All cancellations must be made in writing to dawn.francescon@t2systems.com by Monday, November 4th. After this time, no refunds will be allowed; however, we will be happy to transfer your registration to another member of your team.

Please note: all invoices for Canadian registrations will be invoiced in CAD at the prevailing exchange rate for that date.


What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that things come up or schedules change unexpectedly, which is why we offer a 100% refund for all registrations canceled before November 4, 2019. To cancel, please send an email to the conference planner, Dawn Francescon, at dawn.francescon@t2systems.com.

Please understand that due to our conference planning timelines and associated costs, we are unable to provide refunds for cancellations after November 4, 2019. However, we do allow substitutions and you are welcome to send a colleague in your place.

 


Hotels

Are there any special hotel rates for Connect?

Yes. T2 has negotiated a conference rate of $189 USD per night for conference attendees at the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa hotel (which is also the location of the conference).

To receive the negotiated rate, you must reserve your room by Wednesday, October 16th.

Please note: this rate does not include applicable taxes and fees.


Can I book multiple rooms on my registration for a colleague or group?

Yes. You can book multiple rooms for your colleague or group through our online reservation portal, or directly with the JW Marriot Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa through their reservation line at 520.792.3500. Please be sure to refer to T2 Connect 2019 if reserving by phone.


What is the hotel cancellation policy?

Cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival will forfeit one night's room and tax. 
 

Is transportation provided to/from the conference hotel?

No, conference attendees are required to secure their own transportation to/from the conference hotel. Please see the hotel tab in the registration system for information on transportation options in Tucson.  



At the Event

What is the recommended attire?

Attire for Connect is business casual. We do recommend packing comfortable shoes.


What is the weather like in Tucson in November?

In most years, Tucson weather averages a daily maximum temperature for November that is between 73- 80°F. The minimum temperature usually falls between 50-54°F. We recommend you pack layers and check the local forecast before you arrive.


What types of conference sessions can I expect?

Connect offers over 100 training session options. As an attendee, you can create your own personalized training calendar based upon your specific needs and interests. In addition to our breakout sessions, we also offer the opportunity for attendees to learn more about industry related topics in our general sessions, as well as ample opportunities to network with and learn from industry peers.


Is there a conference schedule?

Yes. You can find a Schedule-at-a-Glance here. We're working hard to finalize our session offerings. The session schedule will be posted here later this summer.


How can I stay updated during the conference?

You can download our Connect Conference mobile app to stay updated throughout the event. On the app, you can plan your conference schedule, receive event notifications, share posts with the other attendees, and more.


How do I download the Connect mobile app?

We'll send out information about how to download the conference app to all attendees roughly one month before Connect begins. We will also post this information onsite during the conference.
